“Teach Us to Number Our Days”

Acknowledging our mortality is not only one of themes of Lent but also an ancient Christian practice, one which many find makes life more meaningful and precious. Our Lenten program this year will be titled “Teach Us to Number Our Days” from Psalm 90:12. Together we’ll reflect on matters relating to the end of life and hear from guests knowledgeable in various areas.  Topics will include funeral planning, grief and mourning, putting your worldly affairs in order, and leaving a legacy.  Life is uncertain, and we don’t know how much time we have on this earth.  By planning ahead, you can leave your loved ones with a tremendous gift at a difficult time of loss.  Join us over five Wednesday evenings February 25 through March 25.  We’ll begin at 6:00 PM with a simple soup supper, spend some time learning together, and conclude with Compline in the church by 7:30.  Childcare will be provided.
